Your licence

DuelTempo is licensed, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add DuelTempo-specific details to that agreement. If the two conflict, Apple's agreement applies to the licence itself.

Using the clock

DuelTempo is built for home games, clubs, cafés, schools, coaching, and other casual over-the-board play. It is not certified tournament equipment. Event organizers and arbiters decide whether a phone may be used as a clock, and their rules take precedence.

Timekeeping depends on your device. Interruptions, low battery, system updates, or hardware faults can affect a game. Game Rescue helps recover interrupted games, but DuelTempo cannot guarantee that every game will be recovered, and you remain responsible for how you use the clock and settle disputes over a result.

DuelTempo Pro

The core clock is free. DuelTempo Pro is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks additional themes and advanced time controls. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Apple processes the payment, shows the price in your local currency before you buy, and makes Pro available to family members through Family Sharing.

You can restore Pro on your devices with Restore Purchase in the app. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

DuelTempo may add, change, or retire features over time. We intend to keep the Pro features you bought available in future versions for as long as DuelTempo is offered.

Privacy

DuelTempo collects anonymous product analytics and crash reports by default, which you can turn off in Settings. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is collected and why.

Liability

DuelTempo is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Pomisoft OÜ is not liable for lost games, results, prizes, or other indirect losses arising from the use of the app, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for DuelTempo Pro. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts.

Changes

If these terms change, the updated version and its effective date will be published at pomisoft.dev/dueltempo/terms.
